Criticism arose as migrant lawyers claimed that the Trump administration was deporting individuals without **”due process.”** However, ICE documented that detainees were given as few as **12 hours** to challenge their deportations under the **Alien Enemies Act**.
The operation also drew scrutiny as two federal judges were accused of defying the court system by obstructing immigration enforcement efforts. **Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan** faces charges of **obstruction** after allegedly shielding a migrant from ICE.
